Grant Schemes
Environmental Schemes
The Town Council can provide small grants to encourage and help organisations delivering schemes to help improve the environment of Berwick, Tweedmouth and Spittal.
Examples include paying for Berwicks entry into Northumbria-in-Bloom, meeting the costs of shrubs for planting at Berwick Railway Station, helping with the costs of restoring the Tweedmouth War memorial.

Events
The Town Council can also provide small grants to organisations arranging events in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Examples of this include assisting a local group with the costs of publicising their pantomime, supporting the Spittal Gala, and helping with the marketing and promotion of the Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival.
