Freedom Ceremony - 17 April 2012
At a ceremony at the Guild Hall today, Tuesday 17 April 2012 at 11.30am, eleven applicants were admitted as Freemen of Berwick-upon-Tweed. After the ceremony the applicants were photographed on the steps of the Town Hall.
Front row (left-to-right) are Capt. James Evans (Chairman of the Guild), Paul Morgan (Halberdier), Mr Lance Robson (Sheriff), Mr Alan Bowlas (Mayor), Ms Joyce Benton (Sergeant-at-Mace), Ms Sue Finch (Town Clerk) and Mr Michael Herriott (Vice Chairman of the Guild).
