Council and Committees
All meetings of Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council — including Full Council and all Committees — are open to the press and public, except where confidential or personal matters require the exclusion of the public under the relevant legislation.
At every Full Council and Committee meeting, there is a 15-minute open session at the beginning during which members of the public may ask questions or make statements. Each individual is limited to 3 minutes. Outside of this session, the public may observe the meeting but must not take part.
Agendas and minutes are published on our website in advance of each meeting, in line with statutory requirements.
